Carlos Aguilar, ABOC
Carlos began working in the field of ophthalmology in 1997, after serving in the United States Marine Corps. He joined the staff of Pediatric Eye Specialists in 2005. Carlos is certified by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) and through the American Board of Opticianry (ABOC). He enjoys playing soccer and tennis.

Ayve is all about children. She enjoys working to help them see the world clearly, and she and her husband have a youngster of their own. An avid sports fan, Ayve played volleyball in college and now coaches club volleyball for fun. When she’s not helping children or working toward a degree in education at The University of Texas at Arlington, you may find her at a Fossil Ridge High School football game – where her husband coaches the team.

Jessica started preparing for her career as an optician immediately after high school. Today she has more than 10 years experience, and has a particular skill for picking the perfect frame to fit each patient. In her free time, Jessica enjoys musical performance. She is a vocalist and guitarist with two area bands.
Elia Clay, ABOC
Optician — Fort Worth
Elia has more than 10 years of experience as an optician and stays current on the latest technology and trends in the industry. A Texas native, she loves helping parents and children find the perfect pair of glasses. She also enjoys spending time with family, reading or shopping for shoes.
Contact Lens Coordinator
Crystal devotes most of her free time to her young twin daughters. When she is not busy being a mommy, she loves to read. Family is incredibly important to her so working in a pediatric setting and being able to help other families brings her great joy. Crystal has worked for Pediatric Eye Specialists for five years and is excited to start a new career with Special Eyes Optical. She will work primarily in the Fort Worth office, assisting families with contacts and other online orders.
